Raise your glass Wednesday, December 7th, 2011

This great concept of a Pop-up wine bar is one of a kind in Holland! If you’re in Amsterdam, go to the famous Leidscheplein where it’s right in front of the new DeLaMar Theater. The beautiful bar looks like an industrial designed home with a living room area, dinner table, TV-corner, a bedroom where you can smoke and even a bubble bath for costumer use! The concept is for a broad audience; wine lovers to hype hunters and everything in between. Also worth mentioning it’s for every budget. You can order one of the 41 wines and champagnes per bottle per glass or even per sip. The winebar is open until the 23rd of December so you better be quick!

The Pop-up Wine Bar Marnixstraat 429, Amsterdam.

Wednesday – Saturday 16.00 – 24.00
Sunday 14.00 – 21.00
Monday and Tuesday opened for private events and tastings

How to tie your tie Wednesday, November 30th, 2011

The holidays are coming and your tuxedo can finally get out of its cover and enjoy a nice evening of celebration. To finish off your black tie look you should put on a bow tie! But what was the trick again? Because the last time you had to tie a knot like that was for Christmas a year ago – right?

Cold Method is here to help you never forget how to put on your bow tie. We’ve included a handy do-it-yourself instruction drawing. Practice is key! So the more you practice the sooner you’ll get the hang out of it and won’t stress out at the last minute.

Enjoy the holidays!

Sunnery James in Cold Method Tuesday, November 22nd, 2011

Yesterday Dutch powerhouse couple Doutzen Kroes and Sunnery James shined on the red carpet at the royal premier of the movie ‘Nova Zembla’. This is the first Dutch 3D-movie ever made and also the first acting experience for supermodel Doutzen Kroes. While Doutzen was wearing a magical dress by Giambattista Valli, her husband Sunnery James went for a Cold Method suit. This resulted in some charming photo moments for the covers of two major Dutch news papers: De Telegraaf and METRO.
